Functions at different location in the system
Create, find and edit your own data records
In TUdatalib's new system, some of the functions can be found in different places than in the old one. While in the old TUdatalib the data records can be found on the start page via “My account” -> “Submissions”, in the new system this is done via the “Workspace” button. This is located at the top right-hand edge of the screen. The button symbol is a cloud with an arrow pointing up. There you will find all your uploaded data records, as well as data records for which you are entered as a reviewer. You can view the latter under "Workflow tasks”. You can also create new data records directly in the workspace. The drag-and-drop field above “Your publications” can be used for this. Drag the files you want to upload into the highlighted field or click on “Browse” to open the file explorer directly.
Creation of sub-areas and collections
For all administrators of an area or collection in TUdatalib, there is a navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen in the new system. This can be used to create and edit sub-areas and collections. The bar is divided into the categories “New”, “Edit” and “Groups”. The latter allows you to search for and edit groups.
Creating and editing groups
Groups are created via, for example, the collection for which an authorization group is to be created. After navigating to the respective collection via the navigation bar under “Edit” -> “Collection”, you can create a new group for various groups of people such as administrators, submitters, editors and authorized users under “Assign roles”.
The groups can be edited via the navigation bar under “Groups”. However, the group ID is required for the search.
