This file contains the information for the implementation of the Design Optimization Platform to the design of a knee damper exoskeleton for over-ground and downhill gait. The detailed information of the study is presented in the following publication: Mahmoudi, A., Rinderknecht, S., Seyfarth, A., & Sharbafi, M. A. (2025). Design optimization platform for assistive wearable devices applied to a knee damper exoskeleton. Wearable Technologies, 6, e30. - The "Codes" folder contains the SCONE scenarios and the optimization platform codes for the over-ground and downhill gait simulations. To run the optimization platform, one needs the SCONE software and the hyfydy engine. - The "Results" folder contains the results of simulation for the 20 implementations + 10 implementations of the optimization platform as described in the publication for both movement scenarios. It also contains the results of the brute-force search simulations. All the results are in respective ".mat" files.
