dc.descriptionThis database provides detailed validation and cyclic data from simultaneous measurements of the flow, flame, spark plasma, spark circuit, and thermodynamic boundary conditions of an optically accessible research engine. By adding external exhaust gas recirculation and by using premixed fuel/air mixtures, the complexity of the combustion system is reduced and the factors leading to cycle-to-cycle variations (CCV) are more pronounced. This set is complementary to the High EGR Database because it provides a no-EGR case, where CCV is minimal, for comparison.de_DE
