Videos of the numerical simulation of capillary-driven spreading on textured, superheated walls. The videos show the following cases: regular arranged rectangular pillars with close and far distance between the pillars, low and high pillars, narrow and wide pillars, and a reference case with a pillar size of 32 microns. The working fluid is perfluorohexane (FC-72) in a pure vapor atmosphere of the same fluid at ambient pressure. The simulations are carried out in OpenFOAM.
