Abstract
Description
This repository contains the data corresponding to the figures in the publication "Flame propagation and piston surface temperature measurements in a hydrogen-fuelled internal combustion engine". In this work, Thermographic Phosphor Thermometry and Mie Scattering based optical diagnostics were used to measure the piston surface temperatures and flame propagation in an optically accessible internal combustion engine, respectively. The measurements provide data for a premixed hydrogen-fuelled internal combustion engine under different mixture conditions, providing boundary condition data for computational fluid dynamics simulations.
