dc.description This dataset contains measurement data from a Geothermal Response Test (GRT) conducted on a vertical borehole heat exchanger. The purpose of the test was to determine the thermal conductivity of the subsurface and to characterize the heat transfer processes in the coaxial BHE, the grout material, and the surrounding ground. The dataset comprises three distributed temperature sensing (DTS) datasets collected from optical fibers installed in three different positions within the borehole heat exchanger: Inner pipe: Fiber located along the inner pipe of the coaxial BHE. Outer pipe: Fiber located along the outer pipe of the coaxial BHE. Grout: Fiber embedded in the grout material. Each fiber record also includes the sections of the cable located outside the borehole, which serve as reference segments for surface temperature conditions. The data are provided as time series of temperature profiles along the fiber length. In addition to the fiber-optic data, the dataset includes a text file containing operational measurements recorded at the wellhead. These comprise: Inlet temperature (Tin) of the heat carrier fluid, Outlet temperature (Tout) of the heat carrier fluid, Volumetric flow rate (Flow rate) through the borehole heat exchanger. This dataset is suitable for: Analysis of subsurface thermal properties, Modeling and validation of numerical GRT simulations, Development and evaluation of analysis methods for distributed temperature measurements in borehole heat exchangers. Data format: Fiber-optic data: csv files containing timestamps, fiber position, and temperature values. Operational data: Text file (txt) containing timestamps, Tin, Tout, and flow rate.
