dc.description The dataset contains the MATLAB code used to create the plots in the paper "A General Approach to the Linear Stability of Viscoelastic Shear-Flows". The file Spectra.m can be run to create the eigenvalue spectra, while Maxwell_neutralCurve.m plots the neutral. Both of which access the Maxwell.m and polymat.m file. Additional files that are required to run the files are balance2.m for balancing the generalized eigenvalue problem, cheb.m (from the Chebfun library) for calculating the Chebychev points and differentiation matrices clencurct.m (from the Chebfun library) for calculating the Clenshaw Curtis quadrature weights. The Kelvin.m file is standalone and plots the Kelvin modes.
