# PHOS4D project sensitivity study Ostia Simulation data, scripts and results of a sensitivity study conducted with room 4 in the Casa delle Ierodule (House of Lucceia Primitiva, Ostia III, ix, 6) within the Case a Giardino (Garden houses) in the ancient city and archaeological site Ostia Antica, Italy. URI: http://hdl.handle.net/1842/36190 The Database referred in the documentation and basis for the parameter_query can be found here: Database: https://github.com/Lucia-Michielin/DoorsAndWindows All coordinates are EPSG:3004 (Monte Mario / Italy zone 2). v11 refers to the 11th iteration of simulation/modelling. 03_09_06 refers to the Casa delle Ierodule (Regio 3, Insula IV, entrance 6). 03_09_06_0-4 refers to room number 4 in the ground floor of house the Casa delle Ierodule. More information on room numbers are found in folder „database“ including plans in the folder „binaries“. For material documentation see caseStudies Ostia folder. ## check_images_v11 Fisheye images of all variants. ## geometric models Latest iteration of the geometric reconstruction base model and the variants of the outer wall in editable form (Rhinoceros File Format v7, .3dm) and/or in archive format (Wavefront ASCII, .obj). For documentation of the reconstruction consult the project database (see folder "database") The models are based on the separately published reconstruction model (See: https://tudatalib.ulb.tu-darmstadt.de/handle/tudatalib/4302 for copyright and author information) ## simulation_environment_v4 Simulation environment including settings, scripts and results. The simulation is reproducible with the phos4dtools Software. See package „phos4dtools“ for dependencies and documentation (https://tudatalib.ulb.tu-darmstadt.de/handle/tudatalib/4302). The folder is under version control of a git repository, see https://igit.architektur.tu-darmstadt.de/phos-4d/UHDLWindowSizeDaylightOstia.git. The folder contains a running script for the bash shell (cleartext, para_run.sh). The phos4dtools_setup files are generated by the init.sh script. Folders not mentioned further are generated by the tools and contain internal files suitable for debugging. Weather data in EnergyPlus Weather File format (cleartext, rome.epw, location Roma-Fiumicino - ITA), Radiance Material definitions for Roman window glass (materials_def_air.rad) and uncovered windows (materials_def_air.rad). See README.md for more information on usage. ### basemodel Contains the geometric model of the house and the surroundings ### obj_in contains the geometric models of the variants of the outer wall with the window ### check_images Fisheye images of all rooms in Radiance HDR format (.hdr). ### results The raw simulation results in NumPy format (see folder „phos4dtools“ for documentation, .npz) and the condensed results in Tab-separated values Format (cleartext, see column descriptions for more information, .tsv) as generated in the „analyse“ step of the phos4dtools. ## simulation_results_v4 Condensed results in Tab-separated values Format (cleartext, see column descriptions for more information, .tsv) as generated in the „analyse“ step of the phos4dtools and as uploaded to the GIS environment. The file meta.tsv (cleartext, see column descriptions for more information, .tsv) contains a list of the variants and corresponding files and window heights. ## parametric_variants Rhino and grashopper files, database of Roman door and window openings (see Michelin 2019) and documentation for parametric generation of the variants. ### parameters_query The grasshopper file queries the database according to a selected parameter range.
