Script revision summary – parameter study scripts

Context
This document summarizes editorial revisions performed on the parameter
study scripts used in the numerical investigation of Chapter 4 of the
dissertation:

"Einsatz von CFK in hochpräzisen, lösbaren Welle-Nabe-Verbindungen im Maschinenbau am Beispiel von HSK-Werkzeugspannfuttern".

Purpose of the revisions
The revisions were performed after completion of the numerical
investigations in order to improve the readability, consistency and
reproducibility of the provided research scripts.

The revisions therefore do not represent the exact scripts used during
the original generation of the simulation data.

Important clarification
The revisions were limited to improvements in:

• readability
• documentation
• structural consistency of the scripts
• removal of absolute file paths
• harmonization of script headers

No changes were made to:

• the implemented simulation models
• the numerical evaluation procedures
• the parameter ranges used in the studies
• the scientific content of the scripts

Consequently, the revisions do not affect the numerical results presented
in the dissertation.

Use of language models
The editorial revision of the scripts was supported by the language model
ChatGPT (OpenAI). The model was used solely to assist in improving
readability, documentation and structural clarity of the scripts.

No automated generation of scientific results or model formulations was
performed.

Scope of the revised scripts
The following parameter study scripts were revised:

• Parameterstudie_E.py
• Parameterstudie_mu.py
• Parameterstudie_Umin.py
• Parameterstudie_F_sp.py
• Parameterstudie_M_T.py
• Parameterstudie_d_1.py

The scripts generate Abaqus simulation jobs by varying individual
parameters of the HSK interface model and calling the corresponding
model generation scripts.
