Revised uniform nomenclature for the carriage by rail of coal and steel

At the 277th meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 11 February 1974, the representatives of the Governments of the Member States of ECSC adopted the following revised text of the uniform nomenclature (1) referred to in the second paragraph of Article 2 of the Agreement of 21 March 1955 (2).

The representatives of the Governments of the Member States of the ECSC, meeting in Council, agreed in the interests of simplification that in future these amendments would no longer be submitted to them for approval. The nomenclature would henceforth be revised under ECSC Tariff No 9001 by the railway companies themselves in cooperation with the Commission and in line with the other relevant nomenclatures. After finalization these amendments would be published in the railway tariff schedules in the same way as tariff provisions covered by ECSC International Tariff No 9001.
