appointing members of the European Advisory Committee on statistical information in the economic and social spheres

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to Council Decision 91/116/EEC of 25 February 1991 setting up the European Advisory Committee on statistical information in the economic and social spheres [1], and in particular Article 4 thereof,

Having regard to the opinion of the Commission,

Whereas:

(1) The term of office of the members of the aforementioned Committee will expire on 28 November 2005.

(2) The Governments of the Member States have each put forward a list of candidates with a view to appointing two members per Member State to the Committee,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Sole Article

The persons named in the Annex are hereby appointed as members of the European Advisory Committee on statistical information in the economic and social spheres for a renewable term of four years starting on 29 November 2005.
