COUNCIL DECISION

of 26 October 1982

designating representative organizations required to draw up lists of candidates for the Consultative Committee of the European Coal and Steel Community

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN

COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to Article 18 of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community,

Whereas, by its Decision of 20 October 1980 (1), the Council designated the producers' and workers' organizations referred to in the third subparagraph of that Article;

Whereas, by its Decision of 25 November 1980 (2), the Council appointed the members of the Consultative Committee for the period 25 November 1980 to 24 November 1982;

Whereas the representative organizations, which are required to draw up lists of twice as many candidates as there are seats allotted to them, should be designated in order that the Consultative Committee may be renewed for a period of two years,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

The representative organizations of producers and workers listed in the table annexed to this Decision are hereby designated to draw up lists of candidates on the basis of which the members of the Consultative Committee of the European Coal and Steel Community shall be appointed in numbers equal to those shown in the aforesaid table in respect of those same organizations.

Article 2

The Council will at a later date supplement the designation of the organizations required to nominate candidates in the workers' category.
