COMMISSION OPINION of 4 April 1973 to be addressed to the German Government concerning the draft Regulation amending the implementing Regulation of 22 August 1969 (73/134/EEC)

1. By letters of 8 January 1973 and 22 February 1973 the German Government sent to the Commission the draft text of a Regulation amending the implementing Regulation of 22 August 1969, together with an explanatory memorandum.

2. The German Draft Regulation utilizes the power conferred by Council Regulation (EEC) No 515/72 of 28 February 1972 to grant exemptions and provides in particular for: (1) an exemption in respect of breaks in driving;

(2) exemptions in respect of the transport of harvest produce;

(3) exemptions in respect of the transport of milk.

3. The Commission finds that the Draft Regulation is in accordance with Regulation (EEC) No 515/72.

4. The Commission accordingly delivers a favourable Opinion concerning the Draft Regulation.
