Notice concerning the applications of nuclear energy

Because of the importance of processes for the decomposition of water by chemical cycles in the context of widening the applications of nuclear energy, the Commission of the European Communities intends to promote concerted action in this field. To this end it invites agencies, undertakings and institutes planning or already carrying out research programmes in this field to communicate these programmes to it pursuant to Article 5 of the Euratom Treaty.

Communications should be addressed to the Commission of the European Communities, Directorate-General for Industrial, Technological and Scientific Affairs, 200 rue de la Loi, B 1040 Brussels.

A copy of the communication should also be sent to the Scientific Director, Ispra Establishment, Joint Research Centre, Ispra (Varise), Italy.
