Decision of the EEA Joint Committee

amending Annex XIII (Transport) to the EEA Agreement

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement", and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Annex XIII to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 77/2004 of 8 June 2004 [1]

(2) Commission Regulation (EC) No 415/2004 of 5 March 2004 amending Regulation (EC) No 2099/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a Committee on Safe Seas and the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (COSS) and amending the regulations on maritime safety and the prevention of pollution from ships [2] is to be incorporated into the Agreement,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

The following shall be added in point 56n (Regulation (EC) No 2099/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council), in the first indent (Regulation (EC) No 2099/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of points 55c (Council Regulation (EC) 2978/94), 56 (Council Regulation (EEC) No 613/91), 56m (Regulation (EC) No 417/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council) and in the third indent (Regulation (EC) No 2099/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of point 56c (Council Regulation (EC) No 3051/95) of Annex XIII to the Agreement:

", as amended by:

- 32004 R 0415: Commission Regulation (EC) No 415/2004 of 5 March 2004 (OJ L 68, 6.3.2004, p. 10)."

Article 2

The text of Regulation (EC) No 415/2004 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 10 July 2004, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee [3].

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
