amending Annex XIII (transport) to the EEA Agreement

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as adjusted by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as "the Agreement", and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Annex XIII to the Agreement was amended by Decision No 120/1999 of the EEA Joint Committee of 24 September 1999(1).

(2) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1532/2000 of 13 July 2000 amending Regulation (EC) No 805/1999 laying down certain measures for implementing Council Regulation (EC) No 718/1999 on a Community-fleet capacity policy to promote inland waterway transport(2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

The following shall be added in point 45b (Commission Regulation (EC) No 805/1999) of Annex XIII to the Agreement:

", as amended by:

- 32000 R 1532: Commission Regulation (EC) No 1532/2000 of 13 July 2000 (OJ L 175, 14.7.2000, p. 74)."

Article 2

The texts of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1532/2000 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Communities, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 11 November 2000, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee(3).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Communities.
