The file "Manuscript_data.zip" contains data pertaining to the figures found in the publication. 1. Fig 4_rho_2d16_D_10_Re_31500_Exp3: contains a CSV file (shown in Fig. 4), which consists of various quantities shown against dimensionless time: smoothed x, y, and z coordinates, dimensionless lateral deviation (\delta*), total dimensionless path (s*), three dimensionless velocity components (v*_x, v*_y, and v*_z), and the total dimensionless velocity magnitude (v*_s) for a sphere under the experimental conditions: \rho* = 2.16, D = 10 mm, and Re = 31500. 2. Fig 5_delta*_time*_all dia_Re_i: contains three CSV files (shown in Fig. 5) corresponding to experiments performed with a density ratio of \rho* = 2.16. The plot depicts the dimensionless lateral deviations (\delta*) versus dimensionless time. Subfigure (a) displays data for D = 10 mm and Re = 22300 (rho_2_16_D10_Re_22300.csv), subfigure (b) showcases data for D = 6 mm and Re = 18900 (rho_2_16_D6_Re18900.csv), and subfigure (c) represents data for D = 4 mm and Re = 8900 (rho_2d16_D4_Re_8900.csv). 3. Fig6_z*_delta*_all_densities: depicts the z* vs. \delta* for spheres of various diameters and densities (shown in Fig. 6). Subfigure (a) illustrates for the data for (\rho* = 2.16, 3.26, and 7.92): D = 4 mm and Re = 6300 (SubfigA_D4_Re_6300.csv). Subfigure (b) displays data for D = 6 mm and Re = 9400 (SubfigB_D6_Re_9400.csv), while subfigure (c) represents data for ((\rho* = 2.16, 3.26, 6.08, and 7.92)) D = 10 mm and Re = 15700 (SubfigC_D10_Re_15700.csv). 4. Fig7_Regime_plot: A regime plot, as shown in Fig. 7. For \rho* values of 2.16 and 3.26, both the end of submersion (t1*) and deceleration phases (t2*) data is provided. For \rho* values of 6.08 and 7.92, only t1* is depicted, as the termination of the deceleration phase remains unidentified. 5. Fig8_rho*_2d16_Dynamics: In this folder, the file 'rho_2_16_D10_H_200_delta_time.csv' contains data for \delta* and t* across all four repetitions (shown in Fig. 8) , while 'rho_2_16_D10_H_200_Dynamics.csv' includes 3D renditions, \psi, \chi, drag coefficient, and lift coefficient. 6. Fig9_CD_max_kinematics: In this folder, the "rho_2d16_3d26.csv" file contains information on the maximum drag coefficient (CD_max) versus dimensionless time (time*), as well as data for instantaneous velocity (v*_s) and dimensionless acceleration (a*_s) for the density ratios of 2.16 and 3.26 (shown in Fig. 9). %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
